This Master aims to train skilled professionals capable of managing the design and production of leather goods collections, from both a stylistic and technical perspective, with the main focus being on handbags. The course will support students in the research and analysis of fashion trends and in all stages of product development: from concept study to the research of materials, stylistic design and sampling – all through the lens of pattern making.

Students of this course will acquire advanced knowledge of supply chain processes and product components. Taught with the use of innovative digital information technologies (2D/3D), they will develop practical skills and learn the procedures implemented in the fashion industry.

Final exam

The final exam is structured in two parts, consisting of a written thesis to present the theoretical topics and a practical exam.

After graduation

 

As a graduate of IUAD’s Master in Handbags and Leather Goods Design, you will be a highly skilled professional with specialized technical knowledge that will enable you to access a wide range of jobs: in style departments, product offices, pattern making and sampling departments of leather goods companies of all sizes, as well as in technical consulting firms. In addition, our graduates will be able to work as freelance technical consultants due to their expertise in designing and technically developing a fashion product, from concept creation to all stages of the supply chain.

Financial aid

Payment in installments

It is possible to split the tuition fee into smaller installments.
The fee includes handouts, use of labs and software.

STUDIO SI loan

If you reside in the south of Italy and are enrolled in one of our specialized courses recognized by MIUR (Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research), you can apply for the StudioSì loan of up to 50,000 euros.
