Services

Throughout the entire educational journey, students have access to spaces and services designed to support study, experimentation, and project development. Teaching laboratories and participation in extracurricular projects provide opportunities to practically apply the skills acquired.

Through the services offered by the Academy—such as access to the library, study rooms, printing services, and laboratories—students can rely on a well-equipped environment that encourages in-depth exploration of the various design disciplines and supports the development of their projects in a conscious, independent, and progressively more mature way.

Workshops

Teaching is developed primarily through practical applications and exercises, carried out in computer labs and in pattern-making and garment construction classrooms, all equipped with professional tools to support design activities.

For this reason, we provide students with constantly updated professional software for graphic design, video design, interior architecture and furnishing, as well as digital tools dedicated to Fashion Design.

The use of these technologies allows students to work with the same tools adopted in the professional world, fostering the development of solid technical skills that are immediately applicable.

Extracurricular projects

Arts and cultural activities

Thanks to a network built over the years, IUAD establishes connections and partnerships aimed at providing education that is always up to date and aligned with the needs of the job market, fostering early opportunities to practically apply acquired skills through numerous contests, workshops, industry talks, and professionalizing webinars.

Tra Arte e Moda is a cross-disciplinary project that, since 2012, has seen IUAD students take on the role of artists, invited to freely interpret a contemporary theme. The selected works stand out for the variety of expressive languages employed, offering a personal and contemporary perspective. They are exhibited in different Italian museums—including the Bagatti Valsecchi House Museum in Milan, the Donnaregina Monumental Complex, and the PAN in Naples—creating a dynamic dialogue between art, fashion, and museum spaces.

Network e Partnership

Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda

ADCI – Art Directors Club Italiano

Salerno Do Design – Museo Diocesano di Salerno

Student Support

IUAD places great emphasis on the well-being and personal development of each student, promoting a learning environment based on equal opportunities, inclusion, and multiculturalism. The Academy provides a range of support services throughout the academic journey, from psychological well-being support to services dedicated to students with specific learning disorders (SLD), designed to ensure an accessible and positive study experience.
Additionally, an alias career system is available, aimed at protecting personal identity and fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.

In addition to consulting the financial aid options in the dedicated section of this website, students can benefit from agreements with local organizations and services, as well as broaden their experience through student mobility programs such as Erasmus+ and Exchange Programs.
