THE FANS is a campaign designed for the British newspaper “The Guardian,” which has always been sensitive to the defense of human rights, to give a voice to victims and their families.
In fact, an event of celebration and sports, such as the World Cup in Qatar, turned into a tragedy. On the one hand there were those who wept with joy, huddling around their team rejoicing in their victory, and on the other a reverse and deliberately covered-up reality: that of families who mourned the death of sons, fathers and husbands who left with the hope of a job that could improve their economic condition.There are no winners in this World Cup, only a great defeat for humanity and its rights.
