The Foundation Course is a preparatory academic pathway designed for international students who wish to continue their higher education in Italy but do not yet meet the academic requirements for direct admission to a three-year undergraduate degree.
Admission to an Italian university generally requires students to have completed at least 12 years of formal education and to hold a secondary school qualification that meets this requirement
The programme is particularly suitable for students holding:
a secondary school qualification completed after 11 years of education;
an American High School Diploma without at least 3 Advanced Placement (AP) courses or one year of college education;
an International General Certificate of Education or General Certificate of Education without at least 3 A-levels.
The Foundation Course provides students with the opportunity to complete their academic preparation and develop the knowledge and skills needed to successfully progress to undergraduate studies in Italy.
